I was just amazed to look out my window one day this week and see hundreds of tiny dots all over the new leaves on my rose bushes... I HAD to run out with the camera and capture these little dew drops!!
Isn't God Amazing!? Look what He did in my garden...

I finally got around to pruning my roses last week... it's been pretty busy around here .. and I guess they never stopped blooming from last season... it really pains me to prune them when they are still blooming!!
Oh well... now they are all pruned and they already have new beautiful red growth on them.. I have 16 rose bushes in my garden.. I never counted them before.. but now I know :)

Yesterday, my Service Account Manager at Stampin' Up! (in Utah) asked me to send some California Sunshine her way since it was snowing in Utah... so .. I went into the backyard and took these photos....

I'm working on a 12x12 book using My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!... I'm using my flower photos and will be adding scriptures and inspirational sayings to the pages.
I made 34 pages in about 2 hours.... this is sooooooo easy and soooooo fun!! But I REALLY must get back to my Founder's Circle swaps... anyone wanna come help? :)
UPDATE: Just a quick addition to my post, since many of you have emailed me with this question... you are all wanting to know what printer I have/what I use... well, I am getting all of my "My Digital Studio" pages done with the printing service offered through Stampin'' Up!. I am having them bound into books by the printing company as soon as they are ready for us to submit our work. Thanks for your questions!

I thoroughly enjoyed working in my garden for about an hour yesterday... and the reward was this beautiful bouquet I picked to enjoy inside the house!
My lilies are finally blooming.. I think I have some red ones blooming next..

and I cracked myself up... I was playing with Photoshop and turned it into a white rose!!
I guess if a person really knew WHAT they were doing with Photoshop they could make any color rose with only one photo! someday... someday.. I'll have time to really explore what Photoshop is capable of without figuring it out by mistake! LOL
heehee.. and I guess if you wanted a bouquet of just yellow and white all you have to do is Photoshop out the red...

After teaching some brayering techniques at my last downline meeting, I decided to keep going and add some grass and sky to my "Branch Out" cards... enjoy! (Branch Out is on pg 100).
Sky is brayered in Bashful Blue, grass is brayered in Kiwi Kiss. Boy am I going to miss Kiwi Kiss!

I was just noticing that the photo I have had set as the wallpaper on my computer screen is nearly identical to the gorgeous Manhattan Die flowers from Stampin' Up!

I've heard from so many of my friends around the country who have already had several snow storms... so I thought I'd send you a little CALIFORNIA SUNSHINE from the San Francisco Bay Area... it's funny that we finally get "fall" in late December.. our trees finally turned autumn colors just in the last couple weeks. As you can see, the leaves haven't even fallen yet.. and we have gorgeous blue sky.. here is a photo from earlier this week (no, I did not retouch the colors in photoshop):
And I still have roses blooming... someone better tell them they are going to get pruned soon!
