We had a GREAT time at my Stampin’ Up! group meeting on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who helped with set up, registration, the card contest, meeting notes, clean up, and especially the 5 presenters who shared their talents with us!!
Here are some of the gifts I made for the helpers and guests:
And here are some of our Make & Take projects from the meeting:
This one uses LOTS of punches: 1-3/8" circle, Scallop Circle, 1/16" punch and the Photo Corner punch!! Plus Apple Cider paper, chipboard, Vintage Brads, wide grosgrain, sponge daubers and linen thread!! Wow.. all in a little 3×3 card!!
This is another fun project we made to showcase punches and teach the scallop technique with the corner rounder – we used: 5-Petal punch, 3 Flower Punch, 1/16" punch, and corner rounder for the scallop edge. I think I’m a "punch-junkie" and a "ribbon-a-holic" – everything we did used punches and ribbon !!
To decorate the new Festive Gift Card Holders in the Hoilday Mini catalog, I combined 2 ideas off of Connie Babbert’s blog – the wreath idea (with the 3/4" punch and the scallop circle punch), and the faux diamond technique for a little SPARKLE! Here is the tutorial I came up with so you can make one too! Download gift_card_with_wreath.pdf Thanks again Connie for your great ideas!
I presented a tutorial for the Crop A Dile and we made these little bookmarks. I got this fun idea from Mary Jo’s blog. Thanks for this ROCKIN’ idea and your GREAT music on your blog!!
Close Up of the Faux Embossed brads using the Crop A Dile (I set it to A – 4 to do these):

More samples and ideas to come later… you are probably on overload already!!
All these projects are awesome. I have a question concerning the faux embossed brads. I understand how to make them with the crop-a-dile, but then did you coat them with crystal effects? Thanks for sharing!
Pat

Ok, where do I start? Patty, everything is awesome. Love the clipboards. So cute. The wreath cards made with the scallop punch are so clever.
The corner rounder scallop cards are so bright and fun. Wish I was there to get a hands on tutorial, I need one!

I had a quick question about the faux brads on this bookmark…did you use the mat kit to keep your crop-a-dile lined up?
Thanks!
