I remember doing Crayon Resist a long time ago, but was reminded of this great technique by my friend Dawn. Use the White crayon in our "Neutrals Watercolor Crayon" package and scribble on a stamped image (regular Ultrasmooth White c/s works fine for this), then sponge color over the white crayon, then buff with a kleenex… voila.. cool effect, huh?
And did you notice the textured leaves?? Here is how I did them:
Fold a scrap of green cardstock (I used Old Olive here), and run the folded piece through the crimper.
Then, leaving it folded (no pun intended!) cut this shape:
and Voila.. textured leaves!!

For smaller leaves, I used both the large and small oval punches from SU. Cut a strip of cs approx 1.5″ (can use scrap), score and fold in half. Feed paper through the crimper on an angle. Do not unfold. Place paper fold side to middle of punch opening and then punch. Unfold & you have a leaf. If you punch slightly beyond the center fold, you have a dimple in the top and base of the leaf. Beautiful card and I love your blog. Sharon
