Cards from Friends

I’ve been meaning to share these 2 cards I received from stamping friends… they both really caught my eye!

By Julie Ramos… I love the simplicity of this card, it’s really stunning and elegant and fun all at the same time!  (and you can’t go wrong with red, white and blue in my book!)

This card is by Wendy Sorensen (one of my talented downline!).. LOVE this set and all her attention to detail!

Can you see the tiny little pop of glitter in the flower center??  OK>> so I think THAT is just the RIGHT amount of glitter for any card!  LOL  🙂  (see THIS POST if you want to read about my glitter phobia! LOL)

Thanks, ladies for brightening my day with your cards!

  1. Patty – I have to laugh when you mention glitter. When I told my husband I wanted to be a Stampin Up demo 5 years ago, the first question he asked was “Do you have to use glitter?” I told him no & he was fine. LOL Glitter is NOT allowed in our house.

  4. These cards are great. As I looked closely at Wendy’s card I’m wondering if she made that big oval underlay by stacking punched ovals – is that what she did? If so, cool idea and easier than doing that scalloped edge with the corner rounder, plus I like the overlay look. I’m certainly going to give that a try!! BTW, I, too, LOVE the Afternoon Tea paper!
