I have been having so much fun with Washi Tape!!
Look at these fun, colorful rolls of tape that add a quick accent to your crafting and card making projects!!
The beauty of the Washi Tape is that it rips easily, applies easily to your card or project and is repositionable if you don't get it put down quite right.
Of course the "in the box" personality of mine is not so sure about the torn edges look… but.. I think I can deal with it…

Hey Patty …I like Washi Tape but, I am getting used to it also . I think it`s very whimsical and trendy ….What`s not to love ?
Guess I am an in the box girl too. I like the straight edges better and am in love with the Witches Nrew wasabi. It will be great for Halloween projects!
I am generally an in the box kinda girl, but there is something about the washi tape that makes it easy for me to have a more relaxed style…and I like it! I’m not sure I will permanently change my style, but it’s always refreshing to change it up every once in a while. Washi tape=fun stuff!
I like the torn edge on one side, I think it adds a bit of texture and interest. I love how you popped a matching heart on top as well!
Just starting to use the washi tape – right now I am a straight edge type gal. But who knows I might be converted – love the card

I really like them both! Washi tape is a fantastic addition to SU as it lends itself to simple or “more is better”.
I love both cards, but I think I like the torn edges best. It adds more visual texture.
I like the convenience of being able to just tear the tape and then leave it like it tore. I don’t have any impulse to straighten the edge, at all. It’s also great to be able to stick it without having to apply ‘sticky stuff’ first!
I like the look of the torn edge better, but I do have a hard time making myself tear the edge and not cut it. I’m working on it, though.
I like the torn edge but I am like you….it is hard for me to do also.
I like the look of the torn edges, but have not yet ventured into putting my Washi tape on a card. I’m working on it, though. It’s all so cute!!!
Love both cards – torn and straight – but if I had to choose, I’d pick the straight.
What’s not to love about Washi? I love that it sticks without other adhesive, yet is repositionalble. I like both cards-but the torn edge wins by a nose!
I love the look of torn edges! The fast concept of washi tape is a great idea. So easy to use
I like both ways. To me the torn edges had interest but the strips on the June card remind me of a traditional quilt block which gives it a precise look. So, it is just how you feel at the time which if I’m quilting I always seem to go with the traditional style. Thanks for sharing.
I like the torn edge! The other card could be done with paper from the look of it… I guess the torn edge could be too but the washi tape is so easy!! Live all your fantastic ideas!!
I like the town edge. It seems a little more casual.I am glad SU is carrying washi tape.
I haven’t tried the Washi tape yet, but it looks fun! I tend to be an “in the box” girl too..but I really like how you stepped the tape pieces & added matching hearts. I am inspired to try some tape & get out of the “box”! Thanks Patty!
I prefer the torn edge – just adds something to the card. Besides it’s tape, you’re supposed to tear tape. Beautiful card, by the way.
Patty…like you I must be…in the box… person …but I do like the torn edges but for me I think I will continue to be ..in the box…..maybe someday I will get out of my comfort zone…
Oh yes, I too have a “problem” with the raggedy look of the torn edges! I’m not one to distress the edges much, either! ha But your cards are great, I like both of them! If you made me choose, I’d have to go with the neat one! Just my OCD…

Both cards are beautiful and although like you, I’m usually an “in the box” personality, I’m liking the the whimsy of the torn edges of the washi tape. Can’t wait to give it a try!
