As we reflect back on the past year, and think about the highlights we want to share with you, it becomes hard to narrow down 365 days into one letter, so I hope you will enjoy this quick recap of a few of our treasured memories of the past year!

JASON:

The very exciting news for Jason in 2015 was that he was hired by the same Structural Engineering firm where Eric has been working for nearly 2 years!! Eric and Jason ride in to work together (it's a LONG commute – very typical for the San Francisco Bay Area) which gives them lots of father/son time together! 

Jason has become an amazing addition to the team at DPAE and has taught himself AutoCAD, he has learned so much about structural drafting, he performs roof truss shop drawing reviews, does Title 24 calculations (California Energy Efficiency Code) and even writes custom AutoLISP codes for the engineers and drafters for their AutoCAD program!

I know they all enjoy Jason's helpfulness and of course his amazing sense of humor … and funny t-shirt collection! 🙂

ERIC:

Fun news for Eric… after nearly 15 years of driving his Avalon he got a 2016 Nissan Maxima… and wow is it DREAMY!  

We had a Maxima back in the very early 1990's and have always thought about getting another one.. this one has all the bells and whistles and he even has some lady inside his dashboard who reads him incoming text messages!  You'll also notice it's 49er red. 🙂

Eric will celebrate 2 years with DPAE in February and has been an amazing asset to the company.  He told me they call him "the artifact" … he is like the keeper of all the structural knowledge with his 35+ years of experience!

PATTY:

I had several milestones this year, and the 2 most notable were that I celebrated 20 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and reached my $1 million in career sales milestone!  I was the 9th demonstrator in the 27 year history of the company to reach this level of sales!  We were treated to a 3 day stay in Utah at the Stampin' UP! home office just last week where they threw a huge party for us and welcomed us with cheers, gifts, amazing hospitality and even a beautiful snowy winter wonderland snowstorm! 🙂 (read more about it here)

 Building my business over the past 20 years through hundreds (thousands?) of in-person events, meeting new crafters, and then developing online relationships through my PattyStamps.com blog and social media has been a very rewarding and fulfilling journey!  I am so grateful that after a fabulous career in the engineering industry God opened this door for me and diverted my path to Stampin' UP!

OUR TRAVELS:

One of the perks I love the best about my job is the opportunity for travel.  I have been earning an annual free trip with Stampin' UP! since 2001, and in 2015 the 3 of us traveled to Hawaii compliments of Stampin' UP!  We were also able to spend a week in San Diego for a Stampin' UP! OnStage event, and then as I mentioned above, we were treated to an amazing stay at the Grand America in Utah just last week as we celebrated my one million dollar sales achievement!
