INSTRUCTIONS:
I created these gorgeous copper, gold, silver and champagne foil cards after watching Karin Muller's YouTube Video HERE, which lead me to the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers HERE.
Cut and score your 8"x8-1/2" sheet and belly band with the Stampin' Trimmer #126889, and fold with your bone folder #102300.
If you love a little glitz, you are going to fall in love with the Year of Cheer specialty designer paper found on page 37 of the 2017 Stampin' UP! Holiday catalog, or HERE online.

I decorated these cards with the Foil Snowflakes and Champagne Foil Paper found on page 37 of the Holiday catalog or HERE ONLINE.
I also did something kind of cool… at least I was really pleased with myself… I layered a new Foil Snowflake (#144642) on top of a Metallic Foil Doily (#138392) – silver on gold for this one, or gold on silver – either way works, and I love how they look when layered together!
I also used as many "mixed metals" as I could on these cards.. Copper Foil sheets, Gold Foil Sheets, Silver Foil Sheets, Champagne Foil Sheets, Silver & Gold Mini sequins, Metallic foil doilies, and of course the amazing metallic patterns in the Year of Cheer Specialty paper!
The belly band features a starburst punch in Whisper White paper, then a Stitched Circle framelit in Whisper white on top of that, stamped in Basic Black ink and the Christmas Happiness stamp set (pg 27 Holiday catalog #144868). The stamped/die cut bow is from the Seasonal Lantern bundle (pg 40 of the Holiday catalog, or HERE online).
The little "sprig" piece, die cut in copper foil paper is from the Seasonal Lanterns / Lantern Builder framelit dies.
Each Trifold card had a "pull up" insert featuring Whisper White cardstock and Basic Gray cardstock. This one (above) has a small Metallic foil doily between the 2 layers so that you can easily grab it and pull up the insert.
Here are the 3 versions of this card that Cindee and I created.. don't you love them!? They are so pretty!
Hope you enjoyed these.. the metallic finish is beautiful.. a little difficult to photograph, but gorgeous in person!

I absolutely love this! I think this will be our Christmas card. Perfect little pocket to slip a picture of the kiddos in along with a greeting stamped on the inside. I’ll watch the video for more details! Thanks for sharing:)
Gorgeous samples Patty! I love how you mixed different metals together for an elegant look. Those papers are so pretty and I love the different shape of this card. So easy but such a wow.
Hi Patty,,,,, I LOVE these pockets cards,, so elegant…. I saw this on your blog the other day and tried making one… The first one I used the video from Karin but since it wasn’t in English I had trouble with it so then I went to slipcoast stampers and got the dimensions and it didn’t work out right , so I went back to Karin’s video and watched where she put her DSP on the cutter and FINALLY got it right…LOL….. I’m not sure if on Splitcoast Stampers the dimensions are a little off or if I was doing something wrong,,, probably the latter,, but I finally got it……. I LOVE these pockets cards… I just made a template, now to make the cards. Yours are very ELEGANT…..Thanks soooo much for sharing.
