  7. So many stamps set gone. I will miss my favorite Dandelion Wishes – so pretty. It is very sad that Lovely as a Tree will no longer be available – I don’t understand that decision. Your Ribbon of Courage may be retiring but it is a beautiful set and I will continue to use it to make cards for my friend to take to Gilda’s House.

  11. I really like Lilypad Lake….but I will keep using that one, along with the framelits, even though it is retiring. Postcard Pals is so darn cute, they should have kept it another year; it didn’t get enough recognition!

  12. I will miss a bunch of retiring sets. at first I thought Falling Flowers but then decided I would miss Picture Perfect more or You’re Inspiring and then finally I settled on a set I use so often and that is the versatile, SUNSHINE SAYINGS set. Thanks for the fun Blog candy you are offering.

I am disappointed the Wonderful Romance stamp set and the dies with the beautiful leaves edge didn’t carryover to the new catalog as it is a beautiful set.   14. What a tough question as it is always hard to see a favourite stamp go. However there are many that I keep and lovely as a tree is an easy to go to set to make a variety of cards ,whether it is a masculine card, happy birthday, sympathy or Christmas.

  19. I have so many favorites from the retiring list that it is really hard to select only one. I really like the share what you love paper and stamp set and have made a lot of cards with them. I also like the Petal Palate group. I well probably keep using both of these. But I must admit my favorite is the tea set. It is so versatile and can be applied to any sentiment. I like to use it for get well and include a packet of tea. Birthday and thankyou the same. I will miss these.

  31. There are so many great stamp sets that are leaving us. My most favorite is of course Lovely as a Tree stamp set. That was my very first stamp set that I used from Stampinup. We made Christmas cards with it heat embossed on Night of Navy and took a white gel pen and made snow falling. Crazy me had to order another one when I found out it was retiring. Lol. Patty thank you for your inspiration!

  34. Flourishing Phrases is great with all the sentiments and Lovely As A Tree is so versatile for anywhere from sympathy to holiday cards. Of course there is Postcard Pals which I used to notify everyone when we moved. I can’t pick just one. Sorry

  35. I think the stamp set I would miss most would be Bloom by Bloom. It is so versatile and so very fun. I think I’ve made 30 or 40 cards so far with that set, most of them thank you cards for my daughter to give out where she works. There are so many great sets retiring, they will be missed!

    • I would have to say Jar of Love. What a great set and dies. I enjoy making shaker cards with them. Great combo of flowers and stems and set can be used for many occasions. Great give a way, those essentials are a must for card making.

  95. My favorite stamp set is JAR OF LOVE. I bought it originally in honor of my grandmother, who lived on a farm in Pennsylvania. She loved to can all the fresh veggies and fruits she and my grandfather grew and taught me how to do it. Now, I use the stamp set to make cards, canning jar magnets, gift tags, anything that I want to add a little country flair. When I gift something that I can, I add a little paper canning jar, and with every jar, I think of Grandma, who died of breast Cancer.

  120. My favorite retiring stamp set is Petal Palette. I just can’t let it go. Reminds me of my grandmother’s rose gardens when she was alive. When the roses were in full bloom and ready for pruning, she’d cut the blooms off and float them in pie pans of water all over the house. The smell was amazing and so was the bright beautiful colors against her vintage brown furniture. Miss her so very much…

  122. My favorite retiring stamp set would be Vertical Greetings. I love the uniqueness of the “vertical” sentiments and have used the Happy Birthday & Just Because on several cards. The greeting is excellent when there is limited space on a card.
    The adorable topiaries combined with the six sentiments make up a nice package of note cards to give as a gift.
    I also love Half Full and Lovely As A Tree.

This is a great blog candy give away, which makes my odds of winning pretty much out of reach.     I love the Lovely as a tree. I have used it for Birthday cards, Sympathy cards right down to Thank you cards. This is such a versatile stamp set.

    I know it has been around for years but, it should be a keeper for a long time to come.

Not only has it stayed around so long that there have been multiple uses posted for it, but since the majority of my remaining relatives are males, that is mostly what I have used to make their cards.   166. I love the Stitched All Around stamp set and coordinating dies because they’re so incredibly versatile. The shapes can be used with almost any other stamp set and they look great for cards or scrapbooks.

    • It is so hard to pick just 1 set, I love so many of them. I’m really going to miss the Lemon Zest stamp set and the Lemon builder punch. I love making cards with that set especially in the summer.
