Happy Easter 2021. Wisteria from Patty's garden.

My Wisteria is blooming in my garden and I thought it would be a perfect photo to share with you today. Wishing you a Happy Easter!  We are so blessed to have the assurance of eternal life, and we are especially thinking about my dad today, so happy knowing that he is in Heaven.  Thank you Jesus for your gift to us all!

Thank you for your Sympathies

Jim Burns architect and watercolor artist. Obituary March 28, 2021Thank you ALL so very much for your very kind words, sympathies and prayers you shared with me this week!! I appreciate you all!!

if you’d like to read the obituary my brother and I wrote for our dad, HERE is a copy.  I hope you’ll enjoy reading more about our amazing dad!

His Artwork:

Many of you who have followed me for several years are already familiar with his artwork, but some of you have asked about his watercolors.  In THIS POST from MANY years ago I shared a dozen of his paintings in a calendar I made.  The calendar is NOT available, but you might enjoy seeing a small representation of his paintings.  I also shared several of his paintings at the END of this video.  Enjoy!

  2. Though I have been following your blog daily for many years, I just realized I have never subscribed…took care of that!

I know how painful it is to lose a father, (lost my Dad 5 years ago)…and even with strong faith, sadness is overwhelming ….I truly believe that grief is an emotion created to explain how much love you have… You are in my prayers.

  5. My condolences on the passing of your father. He was a very talented man from looking at his paintings you posted. I know the pain you are going through. I lost my son and only child on November 21, 2020 and my husband on March 20, 2021. There are no words anyone can give you that will take away the pain but know that the Lord is with you always and look to him for comfort.

  8. Patty, What a wonderful obituary. As a genealogist, in addition to stamping, I so appreciate the family details and and lineage that you included in your father’s obituary. Your love for him and your family shines through it all. What a tribute to a remarkable man!
