Oh what fun this Seascape Bundle from Stampin’ UP! is to create cards with!! I loved creating this underwater scene and have some card making tips for you so that you can recreate this card too!
See the Seascape Bundle online! The bundle includes the stamp set and die set, and is priced at a 10% discount – always best to order the bundle instead of ordering the stamps and dies separately!!
Tip #1: use the “sand” stamp in the Seascape stamp set in a couple of different colors, stamping repeatedly without reinking, to create sand. I used Soft Suede and Early Espresso Stampin’ UP! ink pads.
Tip 2: after stamping a Basic White Scrap with the sand image, either use Paper Snips to cut a wavy line, or, I used the wavy die in the Inspiring Canopy Dies, since it was handy on my craft desk:
After stamping and cutting the piece for the sand, work on the coral die cut:
Tip #3: Use Pale Papaya cardstock, and die cut the coral die from the Sea Life dies. Use a Blending Brush and Calypso Coral ink to add color to the die, then pop the die out of the piece of cardstock. It’s easier to add color with blending brushes while the die is in the piece of cardstock.
My card base is a top fold Pool Party card base, and the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White has been lightly colored with the Blending Brushes and Pool Party ink around the edges.
I stamped the seaweed with Shaded Spruce ink, then added the sand with a strip of Foam Adhesive Sheet. Tuck the coral into the sand and adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Final touches: stamp and fussy cut the larger fish, and die cut the smaller fish, add to card with dimensionals. Stamp bubbles in Pool Party, and greeting (from Color & Contour set) in Memento Black ink. I added some Genial Gems in the bubbles, too! The small fish are die cut from Mango Melody and Calypso Coral cardstock, and Shimmer Vellum.
