Well, fun fact…. when I asked you to vote for your favorite Designer Paper On Sale right now, Pansy Petals was definitely in the top 3!! So I thought I’d share some inspiration for creating beautiful Pansy Cards! Did you miss the voting? You can still vote on my Instagram post or my Facebook post!
Each of my Pansy Petals card ideas also features the Stampin’ Up! Shimmer Vellum embossed with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder. You just can’t go wrong with that combo!
As I was fussy cutting and die cutting the pansy images from the designer paper, I found that they coordinated really well with either the Pale Papaya, the Polished Pink or the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum. So I paired them up and went to town (as my grandma would have said) layering lots of leaves and flowers onto each card. I’ve layered them over die cuts from the Stitched so Sweetly and Encircled in Beauty dies.

Since these are In Colors, there is beautiful ribbon to go with the Shimmer Vellum, in each of the In Colors. Creating a top fold 4-1/4 x 11″ card base, allows me to easily tie the ribbon around the card.
You may have also noticed the gorgeous flower centers.. I used my Stampin’ Blends markers to custom color the Elegant Faceted Gems!!
