I had so much fun sharing tips for shading and coloring with my Stampin’ Blends markers and the Cheerful Basket stamp set! Thank you to everyone who could join me live yesterday. If you missed the video, please watch the replay below!
Above: I forgot to show you this sample on the video.. it’s so cute when you add the stamped “napkin” image!!
Watch my free Stampin’ Blends video tutorial at the bottom of this post to learn my tips for shading the basket, and coloring the apples and hearts.
Below: I kept coloring after the video ended and created 3 different versions of the stamping supplies in the Cheerful Basket 🙂
Warning about the Kitty!! Something went haywire during the live video when I was coloring this kitty.. I think the camera was trying to focus on the tip of the marker and it was a little crazy. So sorry!! I do hope you enjoyed the tips. I really didn’t know how to color the cute kitty cat in this set, but based on your feedback during the video, I think you liked it!! yay!! thanks!
Above: I added some Smoky Slate ink to the blue to give it a bit of that patina look, or the look of metal.
Yes, I realize I haven’t created finished cards with any of these images, but I will work on those soon.
I hope you enjoy the free video tutorial. Catch me live each Friday at 11am PT on my business FB page, then you can catch the replay on my blog on Saturday, or on my YouTube channel anytime. I appreciate your support of my business so that I can continue to bring you free weekly videos!

I sure am glad you shared the idea about not coloring rubber stamps with the blends OOPS
Glad that was helpful!
You are such a good teacher, showing us how to blend the six colors was excellent and leaving the white space for the accent? Thank you for taking the time to share your tips. I like the blends but you are making it easier to color and shade the colors.
