Where are my sunflower lover friends!? I think a lot of us are missing summer right about now!! I thought I’d combine some pretty sunflowers with the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Designs paper on this summery card!
Need instructions for this fancy fold? Watch the Fancy Fold Card Video! and check out the other videos I included at the bottom of this post for some Sunflower coloring inspiration!
Above/Below: tips for creating leaves quickly! Randomly apply some Granny Apple Green ink with a blending brush to Parakeet Party cardstock, then stamp the leaves from the Celebrate Sunflowers set. Die cut or fussy cut. This yields some really pretty leaves with great variations in color!
For the inside panels I embossed the 2 pieces with the Cane Weave embossing folder, and die cut the panel on the right with the Deckle Rectangle dies. See THIS POST for cutting and scoring dimensions.
Above/Below: Inside and top view of this fancy fold card. I love this fold that allows you to see both patterns of the Stampin’ UP! designer paper!! ALL of the patterns in the Dandy Designs pack are amazing, and the best part is, you get 48 sheets of wonderful colors and patterns if you select this as your free 2023 Sale-a-Bration gift!!!
Watch my Sunflower video tutorial to see how easy it is to go from a 1 color stamped image to the beautiful detailed image on the right!
NOTE: if you don’t have the sponge daubers shown in the video, you can also do this technique with Blending Brushes.
My sunflower card is finished off with some Iridescent Pastel Gems and stamped greeting from the sunflower set.

Hi Patti,
A few days ago I watched a video with dies, paper and stamps that were all coordinated. I believe you said as a demonstrator you can purchase them in February. Something about online purchase. They were flowers. I can’t find them anywhere.
Thanks
