Tip Envelope Idea & Crafting Cruise Info

Crafting Cruise Tip Envelope idea using Stampin' Up! Treat Bags, from the Bennett family, www.PattyStamps.com

On every cruise we take, I create and bring small note cards, or decorated envelopes of some sort with an extra tip to give to our cabin steward, our waiters, concierge, or other cruise line employees who have helped us during the week.   I left an extra goodie and small gifts for our cabin steward each night, and every morning he’d say “Thank you for the extra blessin’ “.  Kelwyn was amazing and we were happy to acknowledge his extra efforts in making our week amazing!!

For the crafting cruise we just got back from, I used Stampin’ Up! treat bags, folded them and sealed the sides shut, to create a little pouch for the money.  I decorated the front with strips of paper and a printed label I made on my computer.

Not going on a Cruise?

That’s ok.. you could use little tip envelopes like this for housekeeping at a hotel, for a waitress in a restaurant, for your mail carriers, a UPS man, etc.

    • Patty,
I CASE’d this idea from your last cruise using the mini envelope die. I made about two dozen to leave in hotel rooms and for wait staff as I drove cross country this year; even for the bus driver on a tour I was meeting up with. Now I use them every time I have my hair or nails done. Everyone loves them and it’s a personal challenge to see how many different ways I can decorate them! My adult daughter has even gotten into making and using them. Being a busy mom of two tweens, it’s a wonderful blessing for her to call and ask if she can come by for a few hours and craft some of these. I can’t thank you enough for sharing all the wonderful things you share!

I was wondering when the catalogs were coming out? I was hoping to get a holiday one if they still provide one along with the regular one.
Thank you for your time .
