OH I had sooooo much fun sharing all the ways I am using the new Stampin’ Up! Two Tone cardstock!! If you missed my live video, I’ve got the replay for you at the bottom of this post!!
If you are thinking.. WAIT.. there are only 4 packs of Two Tone cardstock on page 2 of the brochure (DOWNLOAD HERE), you are right.. but there are so many more colors in the assortment packs and kits. See the video at the bottom of this post for all the details, and click the product photos at the bottom to order online now!
What I am loving so far:
- This will eventually give us 50 extra colors to use on our papercrafting projects (about 16 colors available now… watch for more soon)
- It is lightweight and great for card layers or scrapbook pages if you want to keep the weight down
- FABULOUS when dry embossed with an embossing folder and then sanded with a sanding block (see samples below)
- Fun as a card base to see both colors
- You can crumble it and make a faux leather look
- Tear it and get a white edge
- What would you add to the list?
I put a strip of the Cajun Craze Two-Tone cardstock embossed with the Leaf Fall embossing folder on the inside of this card.
The cute paper, sticker and elements are from the Autumn to Remember kit. Also note the torn edge is white when you tear this new cardstock.
Above and Below: another card from the video.. if you use this new cardstock as a card base, you’ll see the light and dark shades on the front and inside of the card!! I’ve used the Halloween Memories kit to make this card.
I’m so excited to have new shades of the Stampin’ Up! colors we already love.
NOTE: this new cardstock is 12×12, and currently available in single packs (4 colors) and variety packs (remainder of the colors). It is NOT REPLACING our current cardstock offerings. You can hear more in the video. This is just an additional option for your papercrafting needs.

You sound like you have a bit of a cold!
Thanks for showing the 2-sided 12×12. I’d like to see what SU comes up with for Spring & Summer combos, as I normally use pastels or brights when crafting.
Thanks for all your tips!!!
I love your videos!
Yes, I did mention that on the video.. we’ve both been sick.
They are releasing seasonal colors, so watch for the spring and summer colors starting with the January release.
Fun cards! Where did you get the sand block?
As I mentioned in the video, it was from Stampin’ Up! years ago.. I found more in my drawer and it has a SU packaging label on it. Must have been when we sold white core cardstock years ago.
Excellent video. You pointed out many things I hadn’t thought about but am now excited to try or to use. I had totally overlooked the scrapbook brochure, but thanks to your many tips I can’t wait to try some of what you showed us. Thank you.
I am so glad you enjoyed it!! Here is a review of the scrapbook brochure: https://youtu.be/Z1_wZ4_mrbI?si=7WUvtTcrJn0vVIlA
