Not sure if this happens to you, but I have friends and family with December and January birthdays and I seem to be in Christmas mode this time of year, so it’s always nice to have some generic / non-Christmas theme gift card holders on hand!
I created this card with the Stampin’ UP! Attention Shoppers bundle and the Full of Life paper stack. The base card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut to 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. It’s the perfect size for a 4×4 square of designer paper on the front.

Tips for creating this card:
- Use the Full of Life 6×6 paper and cut per dimensions below for card front and inside pocket
- Add Adhesive Sheets to the back of the Coastal Cabana cardstock before die cutting the shopping basket, then color the base with a Stampin’ Blends marker for added contrast
- Use a Stampin’ Write black marker to draw a border for a fun look (I use a drafting triangle)
- see photos below!

Use the 2″ x 4″ piece of designer paper to create a pocket, just be sure to only add adhesive on the sides and bottom to attach to the inside of the card. I recommend Tear n Tape.
And because this is a square card, I get asked often.. do you make a square envelope? The answer is no, because it costs more (in the US) to mail a square envelope, and, because they fit perfectly in the regular Stampin’ UP! medium Basic White envelopes.

I do have to say sorry… the deckled circles are now retired and discontinued, but you can use any circle you have on hand or the Spotlight on Nature dies.
