Thank you for joining me yesterday during my weekly live crafting video! We had fun with the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie Punch bundle and tips for making these 3 cards!
Please Watch the Replay at the bottom of this post if you didn’t get to watch the live!
Scottie Dog Card 1:
Z Fold / Fun Fold Scottie Christmas card features Shaded Spruce, Real Red and Black. I love how the colors just pop and the graphic plaids in Gingham Cottage.
Card Dimensions:
- Z Fold Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″ , scored at 5-1/2″ & 2-3/4″
- Left Side: White layer: 2-1/2″ x 4″, Red Gingham Cottage layer: 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
- Front layers: Shaded Spruce: 3-1/4″ x 4″, black/white gingham: 3″ x 3-3/4″
- Inside: white layer 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Large Tag on front from Designer Tags
- Circle tag on front from Labels Aglow
You may have seen me create this fun tag before – I cut the very ends off the Designer Tag to alter the shape… see the video for more info.
This Z Fold card opens to reveal 2 cute plaid Scottie doggies with red bows!! The punch and stamp set from the Christmas Scottie bundle is just perfect for creating a cute plaid shape!!!
I finished off this card with the Fine Sparkle Gems.
Scottie Dog Card 2:
The cute plaid on this card is from the recently retired Sale-a-Bration Rings of Love paper, but you could also substitute any plaid paper you have. For the Soft Succulent cardstock “hills” I cut a wavy shape and then used my Blending Brush and ink to darken the hills “behind” for some added dimension.
The “ribbon” stamp can be used as a ribbon, or, as I did here, I fussy cut it and used it for Scottie’s leash!! 🙂
All supplies for these 3 cards can be purchased in my online store by clicking the product photos at the bottom of this post. THANK YOU for placing your orders with me! I appreciate you!

Dear Patty,
I really enjoyed your video on the Christmas Scottie. Such a fun bundle! I used my Stamparatus for the Scotties. Were you using a foam pad in your video when you stamped the image? I love how easy the stamped Scotties are to fussy-cut! I’ve already punched a bunch of them, too. Thank you for all your tips, too.

So glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching. No, I mentioned in my video that I could have used the foam mat for a smoother image, but liked the spotted effect that looks more like fur.
Love your inspirations. You have so many GREAT ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Kat!!
Very cute cards
