I hope you’ll enjoy my video today with the Sweet Citrus Bundle!! I’m sharing ink blending tips and how to use the embossing folder, dies and stamps together!
If you tried to join live yesterday, I appreciate you hanging in there with me… so sorry that the weather and cell signal didn’t cooperate, but I truly hope you will enjoy my recorded video below!
Today I’m sharing the finished cards created with the stamps, embossing folder and dies in the Sweet Citrus bundle. If you need the color combos, you’ll find them in yesterday’s post here.
I took this photo (above) for my craft room organizing post, and I love how it looks like little containers of real fruit!! 🙂 Isn’t it just a happy photo?
Grapefruit Card:
- card base: Petal Pink
- DSP layer from Dandy Designs, embossed with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing folder
- striped layer: Dandy Designs
- Scalloped label: Scalloped Contour dies stamped with Calypso Coral
- Colors used for grapefruit: Flirty Flamingo, Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green
Let me know if this tip (below) makes sense. It felt very difficult to articulate it in the photo, but I did my best! I think you’ll find it a great time-saver! You can also see the details in the video here.
Orange Card:
- card base: Pale Papaya
- DSP layers from Dandy Designs
- label: Deckled Rectangle dies stamped with Granny Apple Green
- Colors used: Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green
- Note the different look and feel when you stamp the fruit on colored cardstock (below) vs white cardstock (above)
I love this hybrid embossing folder in the Sweet Citrus bundle.. the embossed stamped images are so amazing! I added Wink of Stella, but it’s probably hard to see in the photo. It’s stunning in real life!
My goal was to create 4 different fruit images with this bundle: Lemon, Lime, Orange and Grapefruit!
Lemon Card:
- card base: Thick Basic White
- DSP layer from Fancy Flora
- label: Tailor Made Tag dies stamped with Orchid Oasis
- Colors used for lemons: Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green
Lime Card:
- card base: Parakeet Party
- DSP layer from Dandy Designs
- striped layer: Dandy Designs
- label: Deckled Rectangle dies stamped with Granny Apple Green
- Cocktails set: Nothing’s Better Than set
- Colors used: Old Olive, Parakeet Party and Granny Apple Green
The versatility of this Sweet Citrus bundle is so cool!
- Stamp only
- Stamp and emboss
- Stamp, emboss and die cut!

I thought your tip about the flowers made perfect sense. I watched the video first.
Oh good!! It was so much easier to explain on the video 🙂
I always learn great ideas and tips from you.
Thank you Jayne!
Patty-I have a question about the rain or shine bundle. On page 51 it lists the coordinating cardstocks. What is the UV Coating?
It’s the shiny coating on the paper that makes the raindrops and other portions look shiny or glossy.
Thanks for sharing your amazing projects and all the wonderful tips for colours and using the stamps and dies, love the shortcut with the flowers!
So glad you enjoyed it, thank you!!
Great projects! I agree, the containers look like they are filled with citrus slicers. It is a happy picture.
Glad you liked it, too ! 🙂

OK! I am convinced I NEED this bundle. Now that you have so graciously provided us with stunning color combinations for realistic looking fruit I can comfortably create cards. Maybe even have a class. Lots of possibilities.

I think the little solid one looks like a small lemon uncut.
