Here are the 3 bonus Yuletide Village card designs I shared during my live slimline card video on Friday. I’m including the replay at the bottom of this post if you missed the video.

The card (above and below) showcases the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies for a cute postage stamp look, over the Snowflake Sky embossed white background.

As I mentioned in the video, I used an ultra fine point marker to draw the rectangles on the postage dies.. I thought that gave them a cute look.

Stamp and fussy cut house images from the Stampin' UP! Yuletide Village stamp set colored with Stampin' Blends markers by Patty Bennett

Above / Below:

  • Stamp the images with a Memento Black ink pad
  • Color with Stampin’ Blends markers
  • Fussy cut houses and trees to create a scene!
  • I used an embossed piece of Pool Party Two-Tone cardstock for the sky (sanded with a sanding block to reveal the white core), and a piece of white embossed cardstock for the snowy ground.

Painted Trees embossed background video:

A few months ago I shared ideas for using the Painted Trees embossing folder (view the VIDEO HERE). After embossing on Shaded Spruce cardstock, I used my white Craft Ink pad to drag gently across the surface for a “light dusting of snow!” 🙂
