Manhattan Flower Impressions Die – Wedding Card

Wow… how simple & quick, yet how elegant this card would be for a wedding or anniversary!!

Together forever

I used the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die (item 114517, pg 202) and the Stampin' Up! Big Shot machine to create the gorgeous embossed flowers on a Pink Pirouette card, then simply added the Eyelet border (punched with Whisper White cardstock), the Organza Ribbon, and a stamped focal point from "Together Forever" (pg 60, item 115100).  I layered it onto a Chocolate Chip tag I cut using the new Matchbox die (coming up in the Occasions mini catalog.. it also has 3 tags!).

I used the "Punches Plus" Classy Brass Template (pg 186, item 109539) and the paper piercer to pierce around the oval punch … did you know that brass template coordinates PERFECTLY with our punches?

Hope you like it!

More samples with this die can be seen in THIS previous post.

  1. Oh, it’s so pretty, Patty. You’re right, it would make a beautiful wedding card.
I’m curious, though, how do you get such a deep impression? Mine barely show through.

  3. Thank you so much Patty for sharing your creative ideas with everyone. This one is gorgeous…I can’t wait for my texture plate to arrive. My daughter is having baby girl #2 in May and I’m thinking she’ll love this idea for the birth announcement.s

  4. Beautiful card! Can you show us what the impressions die looks like. It appears to emboss like an embossing folder, but is it more like an impressions plate? Thanks
