Summer splendor 4

Summer splendor 6

Summer splendor 7

I printed these on my Epson R1900 printer with Stampin’ Up! Whisper White cardstock and they did well.  I have also had hundreds of cards printed through the Stampin’ Up! printing service.  Either way works great.

And here is a video tutorial to help you with resizing the 12×12 Summertime Splendor DSP to use on your cardfronts in MY DIGITAL STUDIO:

  3. Stampin Up should hire you to do tutorials on MDS for the SU web site. You are the best and have a way of making something that seems difficult, so easy! Thanks

  6. Thanks Patty for a great tutorial. I immediately tried it and everything looks exactly like yours but mine printed much smaller. Used 8-1/2 x 11 paper, did four photo boxes, no bleed area checked. Went about as far on the edge as yours shows, but my printed pieces came out to be about 2-3/4 by 4 rather than 4 x 5-1/4….hmmmmm, any clues on my printing error? Great tutorial. Love the cards…they are gorgeous!

  7. WOW! Patty thank you sooooo much for this tutorial….I just downloaded the paper last week and I finally decided to give it a shot….after some trial and error, thanks to your tutorial…..mine did want Diane Noble said her did and I found that I had to go into the page set up and change my border edge measurements…I changed to zero, but apparently it won’t allow that and it auto adjusted to 0.117, so I have a little white border all the way around, but that is trimmable. Thanks for the great tutorial, otherwise I would have never figured it out.

  8. Patty, when you make these cards, do you have them professionally printed by SU! or do you print them on your computer? Thanks so much for all of your inspiring work! I appreciate it SO much!

  9. Than you for the lesson. I did make some cards also. What fun. I added a mat to the cards to that I didn’t have to mat them later and could also make the color. I love the Happy Birthday that you used, what set did that come from, I have a few but need to get more.
