Summer Card:

I decided to go with a red, white and blue theme.. while the colors remind us of the 4th of July, this could be used anytime in the summer months.  The Wreath is stamped in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green, and the dots are from the Solid Faceted Gems pack.  The note cards above and below are the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes.

Fall Card:

My fall card version features the Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes, and the fall leaf paper from the host Celebrate Everything pack.  The wreath is stamped in Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie. The embellishments are the Rustic Metallic dots. The bow is die cut with the Gold/Rose Gold paper pack. Cut 1″ off the front of the note card, and add the designer paper inside for a fun effect.

Winter/Christmas Card:

A super clean and simple, and very easy Christmas card idea features the Cottage Wreath stamp in Garden Green and Mossy Meadow. Red Rhinestones are the “berries” on my wreath. I used a sentiment from the Ringed with Nature set in Real Red and some Festive Foils paper in the background.

Bonus Cards:

A little fancier version.. I layered my stamped wreath onto a scalloped rectangle from the Metallic & Shimmer paper!! A gold bow ties in the sparkly gold look!

Since I could not make up my mind… I made a mash up of a Thanksgiving / Grateful card with Christmas colors and embossed background with the Whimsical Woodland folder.  The Parakeet Party Glimmer paper embosses so well!!

  2. Love them. You have such an eye for color combos. Thanks for doing the rock and roll idea….I had forgotten all about it. Great because I often use wreaths and trees for various seasons.

  3. Hello Patty! I have just finished watching the replay for your simply gorgeous wreath cards and especially enjoyed watching how you actioned the ‘Rock & Roll’ technique! Just had me so fascinated with all the different ideas and color combinations. I have this bundle and have done a couple of simple projects with it which produced very lovely results but you have got me all excited to try some of these different colour combo’s and add the extra sprigs and build up the layers. Thank you for sharing this technique, seeing it executed really makes the difference, much more relevant than just reading a description. Looking forward to the next one! A big Hello from New Zealand!

Patty, I love watching your stampin up segments on you tube (in large on my 65 inch tv. lol) I have never caught you live but you are a fantastic teacher and i love how you demonstrate and instruct. I am able to keep up with you usually without going back and replaying your instructions. Thank you so much for all y our time and effort that you put into your stampin up business. Unfortunately I am in Canada and not able to order from you and besides I am at this time a discount shopper! Thank you so much for you!

  5. I watched this FB live but just today is when I started to play with your tips and tricks After all. we just got 3 inches of snow so what else is there to do after I shoveled and push broom the snow from the drive way and sidewalks. I loved a combo of Call me Clover and Shaded Spruce on a few and Mossy Meadow and Garden Green with a bit of Shaded Spruce. So many options. Thank you as always for your creativity and inspiration
