Sale-a-Bration Starstruck Embossing Folder
As I mentioned during my live video… my eye sees this embossing folder more as flowers, but since the centers of the Starstruck embossing folder ARE stars.. .I guess the name is totally appropriate 🙂 This fun embossing folder is a free Sale-a-Bration gift with qualifying purchase, while supplies last this year!
I had fun embossing the Bloom Impressions paper with the Starstruck folder, then adding ink with a blending brush. I also paired the ephemera pieces from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match package, profiled on my video to create Love You and Valentine cards!
Option as shown in the video: add ink to the raised embossed area with a Blending Brush for an alternate look!!

Sale-a-Bration Love you more than French Fries
Did you enjoy the story I shared during my live video on Friday? Feeding french fries to the seagulls holds a special (silly) place in my heart as something fun my son loves to do. So, you can see why “I love you more than fries” is the perfect Valentine card for him this year! My goal = make him smile. 🙂

I built my focal point on a die cut tag. And I also embossed the background with the swirly folder after adding a little Azure Afternoon ink with a blending brush.
Watch the video for all the details, but as you can see above, you can use the Soft Waves or So Swirly embossing folder to create a wave look. I used the “back side” of the Sale-a-Bration Bloom Impressions paper for the blue waves.
The Timber embossing folder is great for a woodgrain look. After embossing, I brushed a little Pecan Pie ink on them with a blending brush.
After stamping the seagulls with Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock, I colored them with Gray Granite, Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends markers.

Sale-a-Bration Pick a Season Set
I hope you enjoyed the live Sale-a-Bration review video yesterday! If you missed it, I’ve included the replay below in this post. Today we are checking out the cute, colorful, quick and easy set of 3 cards using the Pick a Season stamp set – your free gift choice with a $60 order during Sale-a-Bration 2025!

- I used the same color combo on all 3 cards (shown above)
- Each card features a background piece of patterned paper from the Toadstool Gardens 6×6 pack
- All 3 cards feature 2 tone stamping for the tree leaves with Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green (see video for details)

Idea #1
Stamp the posies in the tree with Melon Mambo ink for a fun spring design. Happy Birthday is found in the Day to Celebrate Sale-a-Bration set. I finished off the card with the Purple Sequins (also another SAB gift option).
Idea #2
Stamp the Easter Eggs in pastel colors for a fun Easter version of the Pick a Season stamp set.
Idea #3
Use the heart stamp image for a Valentine version! And don’t forget the inside of the card, especially if you have a left over strip of patterned paper to use up! The greeting is from the Heart Shaped Bundle Sale-a-Bration set.
