2015 Occasions and Sale A Bration Sneak Peek Blog Tour
WELCOME to the December 2014
Control Freak Blog Tour!!!
Our theme this month:
Stampin’ Up! projects featuring
SNEAK PEEKS
from the 2015 Occasions catalog and Sale a Bration brochure!
You have probably reached me after visiting Judy DiScipio’s fantastic blog, and if not, be sure to travel backwards on the tour and visit her! 🙂
Project #1: DIY Wedding Favor Treat Bag
How fun is this… one of the new products available in the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog is called the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit die.. it’s for the Big Shot and cuts out this fun little bag!! The finished size is roughly 3-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ so as you can see here, it fits one of the regular size Hershey candy bars just perfectly!
I cut out the bag and wrapped the candy bar with the new Something Borrowed Designer Paper (pg 42). The little coral colored strip is the same paper but spritzed with some Calypso Coral ink in a spritzer with rubbing alcohol.
Need the new Occasions and Sale a Bration catalogs? Just email me (email at the top of my blog) and let me know, or leave a comment below.
Below: Do you see this beautiful Sahara Sand Lace Trim sticking out of the White Satin ribbon!? Isn’t this so pretty!! You can find the new lace ribbon on pg 43 of the Occasions catalog.
The “for you” words are just one of the amazing pieces included in the Mini Treat Bag thinlit package.. you get 10 extra pieces in addition to the bag!!
Let’s Play a little I SPY… how many new products to you see!?
Here is what I see (available in the Occasions catalog, Jan. 6, 2015):
- Something Borrowed Designer Paper #137785 (pg 42)
- Sahara Sand 7/8″ Lace Trim #137866 (pg 43)
- Mini Treat Bag Big Shot Thinlit die (with For You words) #137547 (pg 9)

My 2nd project features several different patterns from the FREE Best Year Ever Designer Paper package found on page 4 of the 2015 Sale a Bration brochure. I used 4 different patterns on this card! Wow!
I stamped the Scalloped Tag with the Best Day Ever Sale a Bration stamp set (pg 3 of the Sale a Bration brochure).
