Here are 2 more projects we made at our Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting last Saturday.. they both use the brayer.
For this card, tear a scrap piece of paper for your "snowy hill" horizon and then cover the bottom 1/3 of the card. I brayered with Baja Breeze first, then used Not Quite Navy on the top 2" or so of the card.
After Brayering the top, I used a sponge to sponge some NQN ink right at the horizon:
Then I used the White Gel pen to add snow in the tree and snowfall in the sky:
My downline attending the meeting or requesting a long distance packet received the step by step tutorial from me. I hope the above info is helpful to everyone else. You can also check out all of the wonderful brayered projects by Michelle HERE. This is where I learned most of the brayering techniques I shared with my team on Saturday.
We also did the "Patty Bennett Original" Brayered Manhattan Die Rose card – Details HERE:
Patty, your projects are amazing and the way you have used the white gel pen is so inspiring! TFS these techniques.
Very nice. The first one makes me in the mood for Christmas! I got my Manhattan die yesterday…too darn easy to use…love it!
Oooooohhhhh beautiful snowy card!!!!!!!!!!! I have GOT to try this out. Thanks so much for sharing, Patty!
I love your sponged card. It is one of my fav. tech. I made a 2008 Xmas card using Michelle’s tech. Thought I would share..

Wonderful technique! I love the brayer—-last club I did 3 projects with it–will have to try this one too.
TFS, Nola
Oh, the winter card made me catch my breath! What a beautiful card! I love blue and I love Branch Out, so I am totally taken with your card! The gel pen is the perfect finishing touch.
You’ve set the wheels turning…. (And I’m supposed to go to bed, not think about stamping…)
Cindy
wow, I am going to show this to my group!!! Thanks for the inspiration
