Tasteful trim die

When you cut one 6″x12″ piece of cardstock or fabric, look at all the wonderful trim pieces you get!! whohoo!

As a part of my presentation at our upcoming LUV 2 STAMP GROUP MEETING this coming Saturday, I am showing dozens of ways you can incorporate this die into your crafting projects.

Here is one of the cards I’ve made with one “rick-rack” part of this die as an accent on the card:

{This photo is a little bright.. it’s actually Cherry Cobbler}   I used the Love Letter DSP (pg 173, item #117162) and the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder (pg 214, item 117335) to texturize the “rick rack” piece from the Tasteful Trim die.

I colored some of the crocheted Fleurettes (pg 188, #115604) using a plastic cup and some Cherry Cobbler reinker (much like they show on pg 188).

Then added one to my card:

I placed a smaller uncolored Fleurette in the center with a Vintage Brad (pg187, #117273).

Stay tuned for many many more samples using this new die!

  1. Thanks for the great “visual”.. I was wondering what size each trim is and it’s hard to tell from the catty. Thanks again and beautiful card.

  2. Wow,jPatty really cool stuff here. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase this, but now that I have seen it “in person” so to speak, I really do LOVE it. I thought it was so much wider and meant only for sewing, and crafting. Glad they kept us Cardmaker’s in mind too. Thanks for sharing. Love how you explain things in real time.
