I changed my blog header AGAIN… I think I’m adicted to it…. I love looking at things with a horizontal blog header in mind… crazy.. huh? 🙂 I took this photo of a flocked tree at the Harris Ranch restaurant/resort on I-5 on our way home from So. California the day after Christmas.
Watch for a couple of fun posts to come in the next few days… I’m still digging my way out of piles of mail and heaps of laundry.

EDIT 12-30-07: Judi Hays left a comment asking what software I am using to edit the photos to make my own blog headers. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 5. If you crop your photo into a "skinny" rectangle, and set the resolution to 72 and the width 770 pixels wide it will fit perfectly into the template on typepad. If you make it between 250 and 300 pixels tall, it will be fine… the template adjusts for height. I add the text, or use my premade watermark blog title and then save the whole thing as a .jpg. Then insert that .jpg as the blog header in the "Design" section on typepad. Hope that helps! (Judi.. your email address didn’t come through on your comment, so I hope you see this). 🙂
Hey, it’s your blog and your header, so you run with it girl! There’s nothing ‘crazy’ about how you think … it’s called CREATIVITY!
Don’t feel bad. I seem to change something on my blog design on a daily basis!
Change is good! I use typepad as well. What software are you using to make your banners? Mine is in need of something better than the standard templates!
Thanks for all your great posts and happy new year.
Hi Patty,
Thanks for the tip on blog banners. I updated my profile so you can see my email.
