Fun New Scallops – FABULOUS TIP!

FIRST OF ALL… I CANNOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS IDEA… I’m the first to admit that I can copy, borrow, and massage ideas with the best of them..  {grin}… but when I saw this idea on MJ’s blog I RAN>>> {yep, RAN!!!} upstairs to my stamp loft to try this!!  Oh man.. this is the coolest thing since the combination of peppermint and chocolate!

READY?? Here we go..

We are going to make SCALLOPS the EAAAAAAAAAASY Way!!

OK… so now… RUN, don’t walk to your stamp room and try this!!  It’s too fun!!

If you’ve clicked on MJ’s blog you’ll notice she cut the jumbo circle with Paper Snips rather than punch it.. either way works.. try both and see which you prefer.

Have a happy Stampin’ Weekend!

  1. That is a great idea – I did see it on her blog but there were scissors involved, I never thought of doing it this way! I love those rub-ons, too – I may have to have another look at those in the catalog.

  2. Your card is gorgeous and the scallop trick is too cool! I love the look of the scallop edges, but hate the work. This is *so* easy! Thank you so much for sharing this, Patty (and MJ)!!!

  3. OH MY GOSH…NO way! I can’t believe it. I am running (well, not really with a broken toe) downstairs to get that punch. This might even be better than chocolate!!! It has certainly changed my life. OK, you get the picture. TFS! I will be singing scallops all day. Janet in NC

  5. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
P.S. Looked through your blog and added my name to your subscription. Just loved your Christmas in San Francisco shots! Though I live in Pacifica I have not gone downtown to revel in Christmas for a few years. Your pics reminded me what I have been missing and will definitely revel in all the glory of San Francisco at Christmas time next year! Thank you so much……
And most of all – love SU & YOUR BLOG!!

  6. OK, I admit it. I am a bit dense. Did you cut the scalloped circle in more than one place to get it to lie flat? Yours looks so continuous and smooth while mine curls when I try to flatten it. Maybe I’m not quite getting it because it is past midnight…trying to find an excuse…but I luv your card!
