I’m Dumpster Diving!

Dsc00747_4   Oh my gosh.. I can’t believe this.. I’m Dumpster Diving… well.. it’s in MY OWN recycle bin.. so I guess it’s not THAT bad…

BUT I HAD TO DO IT… WHY? Because.. I saw this really fun tip at my friend Michelle’s meeting on Saturday.. she used the 1-3/8" circle punch to punch out around the Die Cut Bloom images and guess what.. I had JUST put a bunch of these sheets in my recycle bin a couple days before I left to go to Michelle’s meeting!

So I promptly dug them out of my nearly empty recycle bin and now I can punch out my own really cute flowers!

Check it out!

Michelle layered them onto a punched out scallop piece and then decorated notepads for us to use during the meeting!!  Too stinkin’ cute, don’t you think?

I just KNEW when Sharon said, "are you sure you don’t want to save these?" that there was some reason I shouldn’t dump them in the recycle bin….  aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!  🙂

Happy May Day !

  7. Patty,
Too funny – I have been holding off throwing away my negatives for just the same reason. Thanks for the post – now I have something to use my die cut negatives!!
    Thanks!!

  8. Oh, Maaaaaan! Now I have to save the negatives, too.? Pretty soon I won’t be able to turn around in my studio. BUT…I will NOT waste paper! It is for the good of the Earth that I rescue my scraps now. (Will you ‘splain that to dH tonight, please?)

  12. Hey Patty,
How are you? Quick question…Have you figured out anything that can be done with the left over images from the Bulk On Board Hearts and Stars Chipboard? I really don’t want to have to throw it away but I’m not sure what to do with it?
    Thanks so much,
    Lauren Baker 😉
