Flip-Up Centerpiece album class

Wow, did we have a good time in class last night!! .. and I have 9 more coming tonight!  This is just the neatest project … putting all the parts together to make this cool centerpiece is FUN!  We used Ginger Blossom designer paper from Stampin’ Up! as well as 12×12 sheets of River Rock, Groovy Guava and Ruby Red cardstock.

Directions are available from Stacey Carter HERE.

Here is the album when closed:

and here is a side/bottom view.. you can see the 4 sections stacked on each other:

and here it is as you start to open it:

The ribbon ties it closed, and also ties in a bow to keep it open when you fan out all the sections to display on the table.  I can’t wait to make one with any new Christmas papers we get in the new catalog and add family Christmas photos to it each year!!

  2. Patty, I love to come visit your blog – you do beautiful things and you have great ideas! You inspire me constantly! I used inspiration from your blog to do many of my monthly SU club projects (here in Montreal, Canada).
What a great surprise to see today’s project. This is a project that I have made many times! I used to teach this full mini-album at my local scrapbook store. (Unfortunately I have no photos already posted). I also did single units as cards. If you feel like looking, here is the links to my blog entries for my Christmas card last December and for a birthday card January 07.

You’ll see that the text is in French, but images are universal!
Again thanks for sharing all you do! I really appreciate!

  5. Hi Patty,
Congratulations again on Founders, and also Advisory Board! You deserve it!
I think this is such a neat project, it reminded me of playing house when I was young with dolls, can’t you just see it, those are like little apartments! Ha!
    Hugs,
