I found these great tins at Target and loved the bright colors!! I decided to dress them up with new buttons, ribbon, brads, etc. I used the Crop A Dile to punch holes when needed. Aren't they cute with our In Color Ribbon???!! These will go with me to workshops and meetings for the Make & Takes!
I added buttons from Stampin' Up!'s Button Bouquet using Glue Dots:
I punched holes with the CAD and added Stampin' Up! flower brads:
I punched holes in this one with the CAD and wove In Color Striped ribbon through it… love the complimentary blue and Tangerine Tango!
And this one is a hostess gift for my workshop hostess this weekend.. a sampler of the In Color Ribbon and an In Color bookmark! 🙂
Have a great weekend!
OMG! Aren’t these just CUTE! Great colors and I am so excited to see how well they match the SU ribbons! Great job. These would make great party favors too.
Patty, These are so cute!!!! I have a silver one with my Scissors, bone folder, etc. So now I can go decorate it.. Thanks for sharing.
What a great idea. It even shows your creative side and brightens up the space. There’s going to be one hostess very happy when she gets one of your creative and inspiring handmade projects.
These are so great Patty! What a great hostess gift too. I {heart} Target dollar spot!!
Funny you should post these today. I had the same buckets out yesterday while I was cleaning out my craftroom closet. I had asked two of my DKs to help me think of a way to use them. Thanks for sharing the great idea. Tonya
Wonderful idea! So bright and cheery!

WE think alike Patty..did you see the ones that are black with teeny white polka dots? I scooped those! lol
Oh, My, thank you so much for a brain spark! I have had these same buckets(15 of them) all summer and could never quite figure out what I wanted to do with them. I’ll go dust them off now!
Me too! I got 15 or 20 of the galvanized silver ones in both sizes and have been saving them to decorate for supplies…you’ve given me some great ideas!
What a great idea! Now I have to steal the buckets away from my dauhter.
VERY cute Patty. you’re hostess is gonna LOVE it!
Target better stock up cuz I can see a gazillion ladies running out to grab these up! I love the designer brads idea! Would be cute for outdoor candle holders or to put each place setting of silverware and napkins on a picnic table! So so many ideas! TFS – you are so awesome!
Your buckets are really cute, I love them!
Great idea Patty! I love how you decorated them!
Patty, those are adorable! Thank you for all of the inspiration that you give. I was wondering if I could buy the pdf to the In Color Book mark from you? I tried to create one and it was not good. Thanks again!

Patty, I love this idea. I found some of these tins last year in Primary Colors (or I should say in out Bold Bright Colors). They are so fun and great for gift giving.
Very cute! Thanks for sharing this idea!!
haha! I got one of those blue ones, except I STOLE IT! Ack! Totally by accident, as it slid under the car seat that was in the basket too. I had to go back the next day to pay for it, and it was only $0.26! She thought I was nuts, but thanked me for being honest. 🙂 I like what you’ve done with yours better though. I might have to rip mine apart and case you!
Hi, Patty! I am curious how you made the bookmarks? Did you just print the names of the colors onto white paper and then stamp the images or are they cut out? Where did you get the clear bookmark covers?
Thanks!!
