I played with the Big Shot Pennant die and the Basket die and made some cute little baskets.
Below: Baskets from the Baskets & Blooms Bigz XL die, and Bella Rose and Washington Apple DSP:
I found the easiest way to put these together was per Diana's Tutorial HERE. Thanks Di for these great tips!! It works like a charm!
And this is the small pennant from the Pennant Bigz XL die – 2 small pennants, "upside down", overlapped and adhered at the sides, and attached to a scallop circle base:
This idea comes from Annie Coffman. I love it! Annie was kind enough to contact me and give me permission to post her instructions for this!! yahoo!! and Thank You Annie! :) (She does not have a blog, otherwise I'd direct you there)
You'll need:
Big Shot
Pennant Bigz XL die
Scallop Circle die
DSP
Ribbon
Adhesive – I used the double sided tacky tape (red roll).
Snips
Instructions:
1.) Cut DSP for side of basket in 6” H X 8” W rectangle.
2.) Fold in half to form a 6” H X 4”W rectangle.
3.) Lay folded edge along non-cutting edge of small Pennant die image.
4.) Run through Big Shot
5.) Repeat to form a second side.
6.) While still folded, use scissors to snip image at bottom corner to free triangle from rest of DSP.
7.) While still folded, use snips or Curly punch to snip off top point of triangle.
8.) Open folded triangle pennants.
9.) You will see the perforated edge of the pennant. Snip along this bottom edge of the pennant so sides can be easily bent into half circles.
10.) Use double sided tape to overlap and adhere bottom points of triangle pennants.
11.) Cut large Scallop circle.
12.) Adhere assembled sides to Scallop circle bottom.
13.) Attach strip of DSP to form handle.
14.) Embellish with tag of choice and ribbon.
Well, aren’t you clever! Love that pennant basket – so original 😀

Patty…Thank you for the complement and for giving me credit for the design. I don’t have my own blog. I’m just starting out, so I only post my projects to SUDSOL and my SU demonstrator site. The instructions are on SUDSOL for demonstrators. If you need me to send you written instructions to post for all your readers, I’m happy to do so. Just send me an email. Enjoy!! — Annie 🙂
