Snowflakes in September! and a Die Cutting Tip for the Big Shot!

Know what THIS IS?

DSC02575 It's the LAST piece of cardstock that we used for cutting out 145 Snowflake die cuts on the Big Shot machine!!

Sharon and I worked for several hours this afternoon die cutting 145 snowflakes and 145 Top Notes Bigz dies for my Founder's Circle swaps!

Bless you, Sharon! You are a lifesaver! 🙂

Yep.. this is 145 snowflakes!!! Aren't they PRETTY!?

Snowflakes

Since there were SOOOOO many snowflakes to cut, I suggested using both our snowflake dies and the Extended Cutting Pads so we could die cut both snowflakes at once:

Snowflake dies 1

then I put a 1/2 sheet of Whisper White c/s on top:

Snowflake dies 2

and through trial and error, what we found was, we needed the thin SHIM PIECES that come with the Premium Crease Pad, placed under the dies, to really make these snowflakes just pop right out!

with the Shim Pieces, these dies just fell out!! yahoooo!!!

Here are more die cut pieces and tons of punched pieces for my swap card:

I'll post my finished card closer to the Founder's Circle trip.. don't want to ruin the surprise this early!
