Fun Folds Class – part 1

This week I taught a "FUN FOLDS" class… what fun projects.. everyone had a great time!

Here is project #1: Tri-fold Christmas Card

I got this trifold idea from Fran Sabad back in January.  I've been anxious to work this into a class!  I got the color combo idea from Roxy!  :)  Thanks for your inspiration, gals!

Clips

For the closure, students picked any one of the 3 clips in the clip assortment.

My version of this card is just a little smaller than Frans, and  starts with a 1/2 sheet of cardstock, cut to 4-1/4"x11.  It is scored and cut per the diagram below:

Scoring diagram

That looks a little hard to read on my end – I think you can click on it to make it larger.. if not, what it says at the bottom is:

After scoring, measure 1-½” up from the corner, as shown, and make a dot with a pencil, then cut from the dot to the upper score line to form the diagonal cut for the front of the card.
