Chipboard Ornaments

In preparation for my Chipboard Ornament get together tonight, I was making some ornaments with our photos.. I love to have an ornament (or 2 or 3 or 4) with our family photo from each year on the tree.. it's so fun to look back and see our son as a youngster!  I've got more ornaments to share tomorrow of the whole family, but here are a couple I made with our son's Sr. Portraits:

Ornaments 1

I used supplies in the I Wish SS kit, the Country Living holiday kit and the Big Shot for these 2 ornaments.

Ornament 2

The ornament above was made using the Scallop Die and the Big Shot and putting a Designer Paper covered coaster on top!  I sanded the edges of the covered coaster which is why you see a white outline.   The jumbo eyelet holds the ribbon securely – the ribbon is between the coaster and the designer paper.  Most of the supplies are from the I Wish SS kit.

Below is the back of the little round chipboard ornament:

Ornament back

Tonight is our cookie party and chipboard ornament making night.. too fun!  I'm looking forward to stamping (and eating!) with my buddies!

  1. I enjoyed seeing the cute ornaments you made incorporating your son’s picture. My favorite tree is small, 3 feet, covered with the children’s school made ornaments and all the ornaments with their pictures. The brightly colored garland looks like sugared Christmas candy.
