Top Note Die Goodie Bags for Christmas

I enjoy making something for the office staff at my son's school every year.. hard to believe this is the last year I'll be doing that!!  ack! (where did the years go?)  Last year I took the office staff THESE M&M tins, and this year I made them these little packages filled with candy:

Bag top note 1

Bag top note 2

These are Top Note Dies cut from Real Red Cardstock and decorated with Holiday Treasures DSP and various stamped images punched with the circle and scallop punches. The handle is punched with the oval punch.

You have to get pretty small bags to fit between the 2 Top Notes.. here is what I used (from Michaels)

Bags 1

Bags 2

I cut the bags to 3" tall, and then put them between the 2 Top Notes with SNAIL:

Have a super day!

  1. Thanks for the idea. I was just wondering what I was going to do for school this year. This is my baby Brooke’s last year too. I still think your son and my Brooke would make a cute couple. Too bad they live 2000 miles apart. Even with the price of gas down. LOL

  2. These bags are GREAT, I really really want to make one but I’m at work right now, ugh. Hopefully I’ll make it home through the snow, all (and I mean ALL) area schools were cancelled this morning, would have been a good day to stay home and stamp!

  3. Very cute idea!! Now I have a question. Has anyone ever come across a project to use the bag tops that we cut off? I was saving them until I had over flow. Never did find a use yet.

  4. is there any where else that sells those bags? here in Hawaii we don’t have a Michaels and I’m having no luck in finding them. I had to come up with my own bag and that’s becoming a pain…your holiday bags came out so cute though!
