This is the last sample from my 6×6 Technique Book Class last week… we did several things with Shimmer Paint.. it is just the COOLEST product !!!!

Shimmer Paint

Direct to Rubber

Stamp in shimmery shades of

Stamp in shimmery shades of

champagne, white and platinum!

Supplies: 

· Shimmer paint from Stampin’ Up!

· Sponge Daubers

· Dark cardstock

· Rubber stamps

Directions:

  1. Shake bottle of Shimmer Paint well
  2. Open lid and dab sponge dauber into paint that is inside the lid
  3. Dab off excess on scrap paper if necessary
  4. Apply shimmer paint direct to rubber image and stamp

  1. Hi Patty, I have been playing with the Shimmer paint. My fav. way of using the paint is to first ink the stamp with classic ink. Then dip a watercolor brush into the Shimmer Paint bottle. Next remove excess paint from the brush into side of paint bottle. Next paint the inked stamp with the Shimmer Paint and stamp onto cardstock. This technique works great with a “Delightful Decorations” ornament stamp. I love using Real Red ink and the Frost White Shimmer Paint together. We used this technique at my hostess club party on the 23rd. The girls loved it.
    I bet your stamping workshop was a huge success. I am sure the girls appreciated all your creative prep. work and gifts. TFS
