I'm sooooooooooooooo excited… guess where I'm going this afternoon!!??  I'm going to my downline, Cindee's house to take a class to learn how to make those FABULOUS Scallop Square Big Shot fabric purses!!!!

This is the fabric I picked out and some of the supplies I'm bringing.. I decided to do something different with the handle instead of just the fabric handle.. I hope it turns out great!!

  1. Great colors. The material you chose for the handles is what I have used on the 10 bags I have made. Very durable. Have fun!

  2. Great fabric choices, and the handle that you picked out will last forever. You will really have fun. The bag is very easy to make and once you have made one you will want to make a dozen. I am a quilter as well as a stamper and I was doing Rag Quilting long ago, so it is nothing new to me. It is so soft, once washed and dried, you are going to love it. After the purse, you can move onto a quilt. Be sure to use Quilter’s Flannel, it will be so soft and snuggly. Have fun today.

  3. Your bag turned out FABULOUS! It was so much fun for me today having you at my house for the purse class. Everyone left with their purse finished. And the food was great too. Everyone brought a dish to share. We had a Mexican theme.

  4. So cool! I can’t wait to see how it turns out! I’ve been wanting to make one of these…I guess I’ll have to put it on the back burner…with the new baby and all! Now I can make a real girlie one for a diaper bag…wooo hooo!!!! Hugs! I’m dying to stamp…just can’t seem to find the time right now! 🙂

  5. What is the stuff you got for the handles called? Thanks! After seeing your post and watching Angie’s videos, I’m going to make one, or 2 or 3 . . . !! And I don’t sew!
