Island Floral Die birthday decorations

For my 50th birthday, my husband asked if I was going to want black decorations with "over the hill" and stuff like that….. I said NO…. I wanted pretty flowers!!  So we went with a tropical floral theme for the party!

I made a bunch of paper flowers using the Stampin' Up! Big Shot, Island Floral Die and the Fancy Flower Extra Large punch!!  I used up all scraps for these flowers and then put them around my cake ! 🙂

I put corduroy buttons in the centers, and I watercolored some of the flowers with reinkers and my Aquapainter.

of course, then I had to spritz them all with Vanilla Smooch Spritz 🙂

You would think my husband was trying for a bonfire!! LOL .. at least he didn't put 50 candles on it!

  5. Congratulations Patty on your birthday. I wish I could have seen all of this in person – it is so bright and joyful! By the way – I think you need to hide your son under the bed – he is one handsome guy and all the girls are after him I’m sure! :)))))
