Oh man… last week we had 2 days of weather OVER 100 DEGREES!!! That is just not normal for the San Francisco Bay Area!!!  YiKES!!!  My poor roses just COOKED!!

I went out and rescued some roses from the heat, brought them in for a bouquet,

and then just had to sit back and cry over all the burnt plants…

Oh well… we are back to our lovely weather in the 70's like it is most of the time…  Thank you Lord for the cool!  🙂

  1. So sorry your beautiful flowers were zapped. When you’re used to those cooler temps, it’s hard to bear witness to all that beauty being destroyed. During most of July and first part of August, we had temps in the triple digits and no rain, so everything is burned to a crisp. I know your garden will recover, and I look forward to more georgeous flower pictures!
