On Check In Day at the Stampin' Up! Convention last month, I was browsing through the display areas… (OH MY GOSH>>> tooo fun!) and snapped this photo of one of the employees wearing an apron made from the new Stampin' Up! Fabric:
I chatted with her for awhile, and I'm sorry I can't remember her name.. she was so sweet!! She explained that the aprons that the employees were wearing would be given away on the last day of convention.. wow.. how fun is that!? They were adorable!!! 🙂
AND.. get this.. she says, 'Oh I look at your blog" !! I was like OH MY GOSH>> SERIOUS?? That was too cool!! 🙂
Anyway.. sure enough, on the last day of Convention when Shelli and Sara did their main stage presentation, they came out with a basket of all the aprons and drew names and gave them all away!!
Sara demo'd these 2 adorable cards using fabric strips as accents:
Here are a few more projects that were on display that use the new Stampin' Up! fabric:
a fabric placemat made with the Pennant Die (#113483):
I thought that fabric purse was just THE CUTEST EVER !!! The ruffles are made with fabric strips cut with the Perfect Setting Die (#115961).
Fun cards made with fabric and a new trim die available in the Holiday Mini .. I can totally see myself doing this A LOT !
This is how the fabric will come packaged.. there are 2 packages to select from, each with 3 different designs in them.
AND THE BEST PART…. they will come with fun project instructions… while supplies last!
Patty,
Thanks for taking such good pictures of the fabric projects. I have to do a presentation at Ronda Wade’s new catalog kickoff event and I’ve got tons of ideas thanks to you. I had totally forgotten about some of these things.
Oh my goodness…I am getting out my sewing machine and I am determined to learn to do more than a straight stitch!!! Do you know on the apron…was it attached to the black apron or by itself? Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Hugs!
That ruffle bag is so awesome!!! May need to learn to sew!! thanks so much for sharing all your photos!!
Hi, the projects are great. It would be great if we had the fabric here in oz. I have been planning some fabric projects for ages. I would like to know what adhesive is used tostick the fabric to the card.
I added the fabric to my preorder at the last minute and now, I’m so glad I did, seeing all the cool ideas you shared!
Thanks for sharing your convention pics!
Cindy
