STAMPIN' UP! ALASKA CRUISE 2011 day 1
BOARDING THE SHIP
Friday, May 20 – Boarding the Celebrity Infinity Cruise Ship in Seattle
Jason, Patty & Eric Bennett
We are home!! Wow.. such a terrific cruise... I've got well over 1,000 photos I could share with you .. but of course I'll pick out my favorites to share… I hope you enjoy viewing our photos and reading about our adventures over the coming week or 2 …
As our airplane approached Seattle, I gave Jason the camera (window seat), and he took these great photos…
Above: thanks to Mary Director, we believe this is Mt. St. Helens and Adams.
Above: Mt. Ranier
as we circled around Seattle to land…. we spotted our cruise ship waiting for us!!
we headed straight to our cabin to drop off our carry-on luggage… definitely the tiniest cabin we've ever had… but lovely and enjoyable all the same..
We headed to the buffet for lunch (where Jason tried a curry dish for the first time and LIKED IT!), then went on deck to watch the ship sail away from Seattle..
Goodbye Seattle… see you in a week….
… to be continued… please check in each day for more photos.. I have LOTS to share 🙂

Wonderful pictures!
it’s fun to share the cruise with you!
Your camera takes great photos. What kind do you use? I’m in the market for a new light weight camera. I just haven’t had good luck with the cameras I’ve had in the past. Do you think it could be operator error? Not!!! It looks from all your photos that you had a marvelous trip. Thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you had good weather/clear skies when you flew into Seattle. It’s wonderful when Mt Rainer “is out”. Great pictures (&I’m sure a great cruise.)
2nd photo is definitely Mt Rainier.
The 1st photo I believe is Mt. St Helens (closest to you) and Mt. Adams in the back.

Scroll down … there is a photo taken from St. Helens of Mt Adams.
I could be wrong, but it was fun researching. Looking forward to your photos.
Fabulous pictures. Happy you and your family had a great time. Also love the simply adorned bracelet. Can’t wait to see more pictures.
so where did your son sleep??? pulled down bunk? we went on this same ship and this room was identical to ours…for 2 of us it was perfect…but 3???? also had trouble with the hairdryer so our cabin ‘man’ was so nice to bring me a ‘real’ hair dryer…
