I am highlighting Holiday Boxes that I made with My Digital Studio by Stampin’ Up!!
(you can click any image to view it larger)
To make these boxes, I used the My Digital Studio Hostess CD from Stampin’ Up! called Savor the Season. This CD, loaded with holiday content, is available to hostesses with workshops over $150, or for any personal order over $150. This is available as a limited time offer through Dec. 31, 2011, ordering code 127752.
I used the box element on this CD for my projects today. The images on this CD are for Christmas projects… but as you’ll also see below.. I got creative and used them for other things as well. I combined some images from the Very Merry MDS download (#127756) for tags and embellishments.
above: Savor the Season MDS box decorated with Candy Cane Christmas Fabric, pg 196, #121715

Who says you need to use them for Christmas? By adding Halloween images from Spook Central (#127589) and Wicked Fun (#127609) to the green box, I came up with this one:
check out the other side and bottom, too! all done with My Digital Studio… but you could print out the boxes and stamp on them too!
You can add images to the box before printing (in MDS) or stamp them after printing. I also added images around the edges of the sheet to make the most of my printed pages.
the sheets look like this when you download them from the program:
THEN… they looked like this after I added the extra images and printed them. I printed them on my Epson R1900 at home. I punched out the extra images, and then cut out the box and scored it with the Simply Scored tool.
I hope you will enjoy all that this CD has to offer! I love it!
I’ll be blogging some of the other boxes later this week with more details and instructions, so please check back again.
Enjoy the rest of the tour as you join Wendy Weixler’s blog.

Now I’m itchin’ even MORE to get that time to get it out of my head and into 3-D. Thanks for the jolt of inspiration!
