When I was making my Stampin' Up! Leadership Swap cards last January, I came across a tip that helped speed up my card making process AND made it easier too!!!!
FIRST: I stamped a sheet of flower centers from the Mixed Bunch set and then placed it on my mat and poked a hole in the center of each one with my paper piercer:
And then I punched out each flower center with the circle punch:
and then added the Designer Printed brads:
That was so much faster than punching them all out and then poking the holes in each little circle …. it may not seem like a huge time saving tip, but it was so much less frustrating to do it this way when stamping a lot of swaps!
I love the Mixed Bunch set.. I especially love that I can punch out the stamped flowers with the matching Blossom Punch.. whohoo!
I can’t imagine making that many flowers, Patty, but it’s a great hint. I love this stamp set and didn’t expect it! I’m not usually crazy about this kind of set or punch but I have played almost every day with some kind of design using this set.
Great tip Patty! I’ve not picked up this pair of stamp set & punch, I think I’ll do that real soon!
I love this set and I always love your work! I am a demonstrator and love to see what you come up with – you’re an inspiration! One question I have is how you get your stamped images so dark and perfect? Do you re-ink your stamp pads often or is it a stamping technique? Love your stuff!
Great tip!!! Thanks for sharing.
