  1. Praying… With my dad, the recovery was slow, but he kept gaining back, so at the end, he had completely recovered, but it took several months. Don’t give up hope during the long process.

  3. Your dad will be in my prayers Patty. My husband had this done more than 10 years ago so I know what you will be going through. Expect a few mood swings, people don’t always mention that this happens but it is normal for this surgury. Please let Ronda know about this so we can add your dad to the Project H.O.P.E. prayer and card group. Just send her his address, as I would like to send him a card when I get back from vacation. You are also in my prayers, hugs, Sandi

  5. Hi Patty! For some reason I don’t get your updates until the next day so by now your dad has had his surgery. I hope he’s doing well. My dad had the same surgery 20 years ago and his heart is still going strong. He hasn’t had a minute’s trouble, heart-wise, this entire time. So I’m praying that the same results for your dad. It’s a scary time and I’m praying for you and your family.
