Mother’s Day Memories – Love you Mom!

On this Mother's Day weekend I am reflecting on remembering my mom.. She passed away in 2006, and I miss her every day… but I know she is enjoying this Mother's Day in heaven – undoubtedly tending to God's Rose Garden!!

Below: This is such a neat picture.. I don't think I've ever shared it.. but I wanted to share it this Mother's Day..

we took this photo of our hands and our rings shortly before my mom passed away… I'm so glad I have this photo  – I know it's kind of an unusual photo, but it's fun to have .. just a fun memory.

Blessings to you on this Mother's Day.. I hope that you are celebrating, or remembering your mom in a special way!

  1. This is such a beautiful post today Patty! I love both of your pictures, especially the “hands.” My mom passed away in 2005. But, because she is with me every day, in so many ways, it seems just like yesterday. I see her in my daughters and granddaughters, not only in physical characteristics but in how they act or react to everyday life. So for me, she continues to live in my heart and soul. We truly have been blessed to have had them in our life.

  2. Patty this is surely the best post as you honor your Mom and the fond memories. May you have a very blessed and happy Mother’s Day. Your Mom is with you everyday-as Mothers we are with our children during life and we are with them from heaven. She is with you always and we are with you in your thoughts and memories of your Mom. Thank you for sharing.

  3. I don’t know you at all, and I’m not really an emotional person – but the thoughts you expressed for your mother and your special photos have left me with tears in my eyes. God bless.
