Autumn Harvest - give thanks

Autumn Harvest - border 1

When I reflect on all the blessings God has given me, of course I think of the greatest gift of all, His Son, and then I naturally think of my family and friends!

I am so blessed.. I have the best family and the most caring and wonderful friends! Our dearest friends, who are basically like family, are Joy and her family.  You may remember I made Joy this banner recently. Her granddaughter, Ashley, is close to our son's age and they have grown up together since they were 3 and 5 years old.  Ashley is like a part of our family and many people think I'm her mom when we are out together (which is often!).

This week Ashley celebrated her 20th birthday and we all went out to eat at Outback Steakhouse.. yum! One of the gifts we gave her was this GIFT CARD HOLDER key ring … 4 small envelopes, each containing a gift card to one of her fave places.

I made the little envelopes with the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD and Stampin' Up! Designer Paper.

I left one side open to slip in the gift cards then punched a hole at the top of each one and slipped them all onto a ring.  I decorated each one with fun embellishments for Ashley.

Happy birthday ashley

  1. Videos are a lot of work. But, since you offered, I’d love to see a video of this cute project. Watching your videos is almost as good as stamping with you. Almost. Hope you and yours are having a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  2. These are so cute, and putting them on a keyring is such a neat idea! What size envelope did you use to make them? A video would be nice!

Happy Thanksgiving! I think the gift card ring is a super idea! Ashley is a very lucky girl right about now (using her gift cards on Black Friday). I think it would be a lot of fun to see how you made the project. Yes, Please do a video tutorial on this.

  5. Love the banner at the top of your blog, Patty!
I would love to see how you make this gift card holder. We do a Yankee Swap with gift cards at Christmas and this would work perfectly.
    Thanks!
