About a month ago I saw an idea online with a beautiful drawer full of cardstock ready to stamp and use in card making, so I bought 2 each of the 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock Assortment packages from Stampin' Up! plus 2 extra packs of Whisper White, and I created my own
Paper Drawer of Happiness !!!!
Doesn't that just make you want to craft and create cards!?
The drawer divider was from IKEA .. thank you to Christina's comment below.. here is the link to the drawer organizer at IKEA. I have 2 in this drawer.
Below: on the right you can see my 1/2 sheets of all the colors and Whisper White, and then WHOHOOO… stacks of 2" wide pieces for my Scalloped Tag Topper punch and my Angled Tag Topper Punch!! How lovely is THAT!?
If you'd like to do the same thing, below are the links to the paper packs I purchased. If you don't relish the idea of cutting all that cardstock, consider taking it to FedEx Kinkos or Staples.. they can usually cut it for a very nominal fee.
I cut it in 1/2 first, then cut one of the stacks in 1/2 again for the 1/4 sheets.. hope that makes sense? I did that with 2 packs of each assortment and 2 packs of Whisper White.

Need a Stampin' Up! catalog?
Patty, love the pre-cut idea. I am looking at one of those organizers in my craft room right now. The product number is 18929 but when I entered that in the IKEA search engine I found nothing. Hmmm. Of course it has a lovely Danish name, but I can’t remember it. I bought the second round of them to hold my Project Life cards! Saw the Raskog cart on a blog with these dividers in each drawer. Totally had to have that. I have the little wire mesh add-on hanging over the side to hold washi tape and another for my watercolor brushes. May need another cart just for the watercolor supplies. Good hunting!
Hi Patty!
What a happy drawer! Here’s the link!!!

I own 2 of those trays- so affordable! I cut my DSP to 6″x6″ and usually save a full sheet of each design in a file box just incase I need a larger sheet ever. I love flipping though my stack of DSP stored perfectly in that same tray from ikea! I love your precut 2″ sheets for tags. I need to do that!
I forgot to add that the tray is called Antonius Basket insert, clear 🙂
Patty, the other WW card stock what sizes are then? There right in front of your 1/4 sheets. Getting ready to order a couple of these. And am going to order a couple packs of the paper of each color. This will make it so handy with it already cut to size.
Patty What are the other sizes of Colored CS are in there. I love this idea and WANT TO get started. I have wanted the Raskog Cart for a while now and here is my reason to buy it!!!!
Thanks
I hate to be a spoil sport. I went to Ikea and bought three. When I got home I tried to line one up the way you picture it. I was planning to keep mine on a shelf. I found out in a hurray that it would not work as you describe it. The 8-1/2 x 11″ cut in half ready to use for a card does not fit the one wide end. Upon further study you have yours not in the divider at all but between the divider and your drawer. So I have several options, trim each 8-1/2 x 5-1/2″ a smudge. Let the papers bow or keep them in something else which defeats the purpose of the “just grab” idea. Your idea is wonderful and I was excited and will try to figure something out but I felt bad it gave the impression “all” the cut down paper would fit in the Ikea divider. To take into consideration for those wanting to copy the idea. Any suggestions welcome. confused!
Patty which Elfa drawer storage item do you have?
The one you have ink refills in.
Enjoyed your video.
You are one organized lady.
Wish I could get that organized,
Thank you.
I have different sizes, but the one with the ink refills has 21″ wide drawers and it is the 28″ tall “cart”. Hope that helps?
