When you watch my video in this post, you will see that I grabbed a spare plastic bag to help me in coloring the wooden element.. it was MUCH better than getting totally inky fingers!!
I LOVE the new Definitely Dahlia background stamp.. well, how could I NOT love it.. right?! It's a FLOWER!! I stamped it in Watermelon Wonder ink on Whisper White Cardstock… simple and striking! And how gorgeous is this pretty printed paper from the Pretty Petals Paper Stack!!!! Wow!!
Above: these were my supplies for this card:
Folded Watermelon Wonder Card: 4-1/4" x 11", folded in 1/2
4" x 4-1/2" Piece of Whisper White to stamp the Dahlia on
4" x 1-1/4" piece of patterned paper from the Pretty Petals Paper Stack
Wooden Elements & ink pad
In Color Lace Ribbon (use either Watermelon Wonder or Cucumber Crush)
After I made the "top fold" cards above, I tried the same basic design in a side fold card… I love how both designs came out great!
Are you going to use these fun wooden elements? What color will you try!?
