Remarkable You layered flower note card

Do you ever do this? You have some left over pieces from various cards on your crafting table, so you put them together and make a new card? That's what I did .. I had all these elements from other projects and just put them together on a Stampin' Up! Whisper White note card! 🙂

The Lotus Blossom flower stamp was kind of an experiment.. I just stamped it in Elegant Eggplant ink on thick Whisper White cardstock and then colored it in with a blender pen. I think the feel of the coloring/shading matches the loose design of the stamp.

The Remarkable You stamp set is found on pg 112 in the Artistic Impressions section of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalog. It's available in Wood and Clear mount options here online: Wood Mount with blocks #139891, or in clear mount option #139894

As you can see, I stamped it twice.. once on the Whisper White circle and then again on a scrap, cut it out, and mounted it with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it depth and dimension, and I also let the stem hang off over the edge of the circle… I liked that!

Behind the flower is a 2" wide banner .. I used the Banner Triple punch and a piece of the script pattern from the Neutrals Color Collection paper stack (pg 144, #138435). I also added 1/2 of a Metallic Foil Silver doily .. these are so amazing.. one of my fave new accessory items in the new catalog! Have you discovered them on pg 148 yet?
